As Commercial Support Officer, you will be an integral part of a small commercial team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Your role involves interpreting operational data from our internal systems to support decision-making and client discussions. You will assist in preparing tailored materials for customer meetings and engage with clients to ensure their needs are met effectively.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Analyzing of vessel data contained within our BI system
  • Preparation of presentation material for customer meetings
  • Engage with customers as needed
  • Working closely with other departments within Garrets to progress actions and queries
  • Coordinate with the Garrets KAM team to ensure strong onboarding of accounts
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across our branches
  • Follow up on client concerns, respond to and resolve any service related issues
  • Being a great ambassador for proactive service with a growth mindset

 

What you bring to Garrets

  • 2+ years’ experience from similar roles
  • Detail oriented and structured working style
  • Numerically proficient with solid data analysis capabilities
  • Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management experience
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Able to manage both strategic and tactical responsibilities effectively
  • Comfortable with presentations and good communication skills
  • Experience with working in multicultural and international environments
  • Strong English skills - both written and spoken
  • Solid experience in the use of ERP systems and MS Office (experience with Power BI is an advantage)

Educationally, there are many entrances to the job, but it’s important that you have a commercial mindset, preferably with a strong network in the maritime world. You have a natural interest in bringing the customer in focus and building long and strong relations. You act proactively with a great drive and have excellent communication skills. You think as a team player, have a professional approach but also appreciate the social part of the cooperation and bringing in humour, in a sometimes hectic day.
