We source from the best suppliers in each port for each ship’s specific provisioning needs, screening quotations from multiple suppliers on our customers’ behalf. Our experienced staff coordinate on-board deliveries with the ship’s agent, always looking for opportunities to consolidate with other deliveries to optimise logistics, alleviating our customers’ purchasing departments of time-consuming purchase and logistics tasks.

Reduced administration costs

Through our outsourcing model we assist our customers in achieving maximum efficiencies within the ship’s operations and reducing administration costs for both owner’s office and crew on board. All the global supply costs are settled through a fixed monthly invoice based on a competitive victualling rate per man/day.

Single point of contact

Customer focus and continuous improvement, increasing efficiency and streamlining customer procurement processes, are the cornerstone of our day-to-day activities. Garrets appoints a dedicated contact person for each ship and office.

Having a single point of contact provides significant benefits to our customers. A dedicated contact person is able to develop a comprehensive understanding of the crew’s needs and the preferred working styles. Moreover, close collaboration with the customers allows Garrets to improve our day-to-day operations and continuously develop more efficient ways of working with our customers.
